• You will scare most opponents out of every pot until they have a really good hand and this might not happen when you make your move so you could potentially win a lot of pots without ever showing your hand.

• You will take the skill out of your decisions and put the pressure on your opponent to make the call rather then having the pressure on you. You could also get called and get lucky and end up with the best hand after the river.

• A lot of free poker players will remember that you’re easily capable of going all-in which means some might actually be weary about playing pots against you unless they have a super premium pocket pair or something dealt to them.

In order to be successful as an aggressive poker player you need to limit the amount of all-ins you make and start making smaller bets. You will not only be able to figure out more information about your opponents, but you’ll also have the chance of winning more money in the pots if you aren’t just going all-in. You also won’t need to risk all of your chips by betting smaller and that way if you run into a monster hand it isn’t going to be the end of your tournament and instead you’ll only lose a small amount of chips. Playing aggressively works in tournaments, but you need to control your bets and not just throw your chips all-in unless you feel the situation calls for an all-in.
